Job description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Writing job descriptions and placing advertisements on various job sites
- Advising line managers and other employees on company’s policies and procedures
- Orientating new employees and arranging training for existing employees as and when required
- Monitoring employee performance.
- Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
- Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
- Provide information or services such as employee assistance, counseling and recognition programs
- Recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- Coordinating with the payroll company and ensure that the staff get paid correctly and on time
- Administer payroll and maintain employee records
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Develop training and development programs
- Assist in performance management processes
- Deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures
- Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
Requirements:
- College/CEGEP with Minimum 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a job with similar job duties is required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required.
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Requires the knowledge about computer applications (MS Excel; MS Word; MS Office)

Salary & Week Hours:
$30.00/hour & 30 hours/week
